Letting Go of the Past and Letting Abundance In

2027 builds on the momentum of 2026, when most of the planets moved into fire and air signs. As an earth sign, you’ll rely a little more on intuition and surrender this year. This is partly a year of letting go: of resentment toward someone from your past, of old patterns in your relationships, and of the way you’ve shown up for your family. And all of that invites greater financial abundance into your life.

Saturn and Neptune in your 4th house

You’re owning your responsibilities to family, perhaps caring for an elder. You stop idealizing someone or avoiding a family issue, and you start to see the steps toward your dream home. The help you give your family pays dividends over the long term. By the end of the year, you may be settling into a long-term property, or you’ve carved out a space at home as a spiritual sanctuary that preserves your peace.

Your year, season by season

January to March: let go of old resentment

Mars is retrograde from January 10 to April 1, first in your 9th house, with friction while traveling or over beliefs, then in your 8th. That can bring money disputes, or resentment toward someone from your past, especially if they wronged you financially. Accept that you can’t get everything, and put it to rest.

April and May: be the rock

The Aries New Moon on April 6 meets Saturn in your 4th house. Invest in a long-term home, or step up for your family. The two Scorpio Full Moons, on April 20 and May 20, land in your 11th, and you’ll know for sure which friends you can trust.

June and July: before and after

Mercury retrograde stirs up the past, so wait before rekindling anything with an ex. The July 18 lunar eclipse in your sign is your most significant moment of the year, a before-and-after moment, perhaps a return to the world after years of pulling away.

August and September: let abundance in

The Leo eclipse on August 2 and the double cazimi on August 11 land in your 8th house. They bring clarity about your finances, and perhaps money arriving to your surprise. Then Jupiter meets Venus in your 9th in late August, the best time for an enjoyable trip, or a lightbulb idea in a class.

October to December: better friends, new bonds

If a friend lets you down, I feel like you’re calling in better friends afterward, people who are willing to be vulnerable with you. Pluto meets the North Node in your 2nd: a financial transformation, and a deep shift in your values. And the Capricorn New Moon on December 27 is a fresh start in your sign.
