2027 builds on the momentum of 2026, when most of the planets moved into fire and air signs. For the earth and water signs, the path is a little less obvious. You have to rely more on surrender and intuition, and get comfortable with ambiguity. And for you, this is really a year of letting go.

Saturn and Neptune in your 12th house

Saturn and Neptune in your 12th can bring a wholesale change in your spirituality, or the full deconstruction of an old foundation, an old belief system or an old way of working. If you’ve felt like you’ve been in the wilderness since 2023, you’re now in the best position of any sign to let a lot go. That includes old paradigms in your family that said you can’t do this, or you can’t reach that potential. Legacies of doubt. You may not find your dream career this year. You might be grasping in the wilderness a bit longer. But you’re clearing the ground.

Your year, season by season

January to April: surrender the old

The annular solar eclipse in Aquarius on February 6 lands in your 10th house and resets your career, calling or reputation. Mars is retrograde from January 10 to April 1, first in your 5th house, with impatience around creative projects or tension with children, then in your 4th from late February, with conflict at home or with a family member. This is also your chance to resolve tension that has festered for years. The February 20 eclipse in your 5th is a fertile moment for Taurus, a culmination in creativity, romance or with children.

April and May: get honest

Chiron enters your sign in April, and the healing moves to your body, how you present yourself, and the insecurities around it. Two Scorpio Full Moons, on April 20 and May 20, land in your 7th house and bring emotionally intense, honest negotiations with a partner, spouse or business partner. By late May you’ll know where your closest connections stand. And the Taurus New Moon on May 6 starts something you can persist with.

August: come home to joy

The Leo eclipse on August 2 and the double cazimi on August 11 both land in your 4th house, bringing clarity and a reset at home. Then Jupiter moves into your 5th and meets Venus in late August. That could be one of the best times of your year, maybe of your life. You might feel free, unbridled and joyful, and let your childlike wonder roam free. It’s one of the best times to date, to create, or to start a family.

October and November: vulnerability opens power

Relationships take center stage. The Taurus Full Moon on November 13 may be your most vulnerable moment, and what you release opens real power in your career, as Pluto meets the North Node in your 10th.

Your peak months

February, May, August and November are the months that run hottest for you.

The key this year is vulnerability, acceptance, surrender of old foundations, and being selfless in your generosity toward your family, and that will be paid back tenfold. I think 2028, when Saturn enters Taurus, is when you plant a really strong foundation. But 2027 is the year you find your spiritual footing. Taurus, I hope you have the most beautiful year.
